Story Behind House Of Inara
Our Story: How House of Inara Was Born
One seemingly ordinary day, our co-founder, Rituvan, came across a men’s autolock belt. Intrigued by its seamless fit and effortless functionality, she decided to give it a try. The experience was nothing short of a revelation. For the first time, she felt what it was like to wear a belt that truly combined comfort, practicality, and style. She was spoilt by it.
However, her excitement quickly gave way to frustration when she realized there were no such options designed for women. The market seemed to have overlooked the needs of women when it came to accessories that were both functional and fashionable. Why was such an innovative idea restricted to men’s fashion? Why couldn’t women have a belt that offered the same ease and sophistication while catering to their unique sense of style?
This sparked an idea—a mission to create a belt that not only filled this gap but also redefined how women perceive accessories. Rituvan shared her thoughts with Rohan, her partner and co-founder, who immediately resonated with her vision. Together, they decided to embark on a journey to design the world’s first autolock belt for women, combining cutting-edge functionality with premium aesthetics. And thus, House of Inara was born.
